First draft: Revenge of the unseen

My team and I made a film and it is about the revenge of outcast and how they plan to kill their bullies. This is a first draft to the film

 

Visual editing

 To start of I would like to explain what visual editing in film is, the process of selecting, arranging, and modifying video footage to create a cohesive narrative or visual experience. It plays a crucial role in shaping the overall storytelling of a film by influencing pacing, mood, and the viewer's understanding of the plot and characters. With our movie some of the editing decisions we decided to make was to cut some scenes because they weren't cohesive and making black screens to imply things.

REFLECTION- for editing we used premiere and the positive notes of this is that i learned alot about editing

Production day 2

 In the first day we  began filming the beginning scenes and some other shots that we could do. We began at the courtyard and the first scene and finish most of the scenes except a few scenes. And for day two i started in the c building to do the last scene and we finally finished our film and it took a couple minutes maybe 20 minutes

reflecting on this, there is only positives because it was quick and easy

the positives of it is that we did most of scenes and got it over with and there was really no negatives

Location, Location, Location

Hello Cambridge, For this assignment we are location surfing which is the process of looking for a spot to film your movie. It is important because it plays a pivotal role in shaping visual elements in a film.

- this first location is at the front of piper and in the morning. We used this picture to show were the film is being placed and were most of the shots are getting at. And it represents were the place of the killing and planning for our main character is

-this is the place were the main characters meet up and get bullied and break the last straw. It is in the morning at school.

-this location is where the planning happen, and it is in the morning also. This spot is important because it is where the film flipped and they became killers

-this location is were the bullies attack and bully the unseen, it is also at the morning 

- this is the classroom where the killing happened, and it was at night

Scene description/opening

[we get an opening scene of pier high and then it cuts to black to reveal the film production and then we get a scene of blair walking while narrating]

 

Blair: Since I was young, I've been bullied. Now that I'm in high school I've found friends, but I haven’t been left alone. I've been getting bullied for a while now and I'm honestly getting sick of it.

 

Blair: these are my two friends first we have hazel she really likes fanfiction and super-hero's like she can read like 100,000 words in a day. And I still don’t know how she does it

 

BLAIR: And then there’s Jeremy or as the bullies would say GERM, he’s a strange, interesting guy and he’s realllly into videogames like he knows everything about them he surprises me every day.

 

 

Scene description

[Blair, Jeremy, and hazel go to sit down and eat lunch by the bus loop and they’re talking]

 

HAZEL: SO, GUYS HOW WAS YOUR DAY

 

BLAIR: IT WAS ALRIGHT I MEAN SCHOOL IS ALWAYS BORING.

 

Jeremy: YEAH, LET’S HOPE THOSE BULLIES DON’T SHOW UP AND RUIN OUR WHOLE DAY

JEREMY: IT WASN’T ABOUT YOU! OW! (STRUGGLING TO HOLD HIS FOOTING WITH THE BULLIES)

[AT AAROUND 6 P.M., HAZEL, BLAIR, AND JEREMY ARE ALL ON THE STAIRS OUTSIDE THE THEATER. BLAIR IS STANDING AT THE TOP; JEREMY IS LEANED UP AGAINST THE RAILING AND HAZEL IS SITTING ON THE STAIRS.]

JEREMY: YOU KNOW GUYS, IM GETTING REAL SICK AND TIRED OF THOSE DUMB BULLIES. I MEAN, COME ON! BEATING US UP EVERDAY? DO THEY NOT GET BORED?

HAZEL: YEAH.

 

BLAIR: I MEAN, SINCE WERE ALL SICK OF THEM... WHY DON’T WE JUST GET RID OF THE PROBLEM FOR GOOD?

HAZEL: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BLAIR?

BLAIR: LETS JUST... KILL THEM.

HAZEL: WHAT!?!?!

JEREMY: BLAIR’S ONTO SOMETHING, HAZEL. I MEAN, AT THIS POINT IT’S OUR ONLY OPTION.

HAZEL: BUT GUYS!! WHAT ABOUT US GETTING CAUGHT AND WE GET ARRESTED?

BLAIR: HAZEL, NO ONE WILL SUSPECT US. PLEASE, HAZEL. TRUST US. [Blair SMIRKS, THEN WE SEE THE NEXT DAY AFTERSCHOOL. RACHEL GETS A TEXT MESSEGE THEN HEADS TO THE CLASSROOM WHERE SHE WAS INSTRUSTED TO GO, AND THEN SHE OPENS THE DOOR]

RACHEL: HELLO?

[silence]

RACHEL: HELLO?
